Hi, we’re Fyona and Dave<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We live in Berkeley, a beautiful suburb between Lake Illawarra and
the Wollongong CBD, with our three Oriental cats, Fox, Panda, and Edie.
We run a video production company which we started from scratch in 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I (Fyona) grew up in Wollongong and have lived here most of my life. Dave, on the other hand, moved from Wingham, a small town 5-hours north, nearly 10-years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We travel a bit for work, but our favourite place to be is home. Home is really a huge inspiration for our Airbnb studio \u2013 we wanted to create a space that feels warm, cosy, and peaceful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we\u2019re not working, we spend our time going to the cinema, making things, keeping our indoor plants alive, hunting Facebook Marketplace for great deals and walking along the lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being the introverted homebody that I am, I\u2019ve designed the studio space to tick all the boxes I look for when selecting accommodation. Most importantly, it has a comfortable bed with a high-quality mattress. There\u2019s nothing that makes me feel more crestfallen than checking into accommodation and realising the bed is worst than the one I have at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly, I want a place that feels private and safe, so I can really unwind. This means all the doors have locks, there\u2019s extra soundproofing in the room, a private entrance plus blackout and privacy curtains. We have a self-check-in and checkout system \u2013 so even through we\u2019re always around, unless you need us you probably won\u2019t see us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comfort is also a huge part of my DNA \u2013 so the room has everything to make it feel as comfortable as possible including air conditioning, TV with all the streaming services, excellent Wi-Fi, and good quality bedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, I like details and I\u2019m always full of questions, and there\u2019s few things I love more than a floorplan and a detailed list \u2013 so I\u2019ve put as much information together as I can to explain exactly what is and what isn\u2019t included in the room, how things work and what to expect\u2026because, although we love hosting free-spirited 20-year old backpackers, this space is specifically designed with middle-aged spines, CPAP machines, and die-hard homebodies in mind\u2026it\u2019s for people just like us really!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
